He holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas - Unicamp (2004). He holds a Master's degree in Ecology from the University of Basília - UnB (2008). He has experience in the areas of Ecology (with special interest in agroecology, ecological restoration and environmental education) and applied entomology (bioinsecticides and essential oils for the control of pest arthropods). He currently works as a research and development analyst at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa). Supports the team in the following investigations: How can the essential essentials of Piper aduncum or its by-products express synergistic or insecticidal activity? Are there any better fractions or key constituents in this oil that explain or optimize your activities? He performs bioassays on insecticidal or synergistic activity of essential oils and / or coordinates collaborators to achieve this important goal. Laboratory toxicological bioassays use insect pests from an artificial rearing. He tries to conduct the tests in a methodical way, tracking and monitoring employees to avoid or any deviations in POPs, because errors or undesirable possibilities may exist.
