Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2002-2007), a master's degree (2007-2009) and a PhD (2010-2014) in Animal Science, specializing in Animal Reproduction Biotechnology, from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro. During the PhD, was a visiting scholar at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech-USA), where research whith animal cloning and transgenesis was developed under the guidance of Dr. Willard H. Eyestone. Has been an Analyst A at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa since 2013, where served as the supervisor of the SIPT (2016 - 2018) and Deputy Head of Technology Transfer (2018 - 2021). He is currently General Chief of Embrapa Acre. Has experience in managing research development and technology transfer teams, focused on agribusiness and sustainable development of the Legal Amazon. Acts as a member of important state councils, such as the Sustainable Rural and Forestry Development Council and the Innovation, Science, and Technology Council. In the field of veterinary medicine, has experience in reproduction and animal production, mainly working on the following topics: technology transfer, reproductive biotechnology, and beef and dairy cattle breeding.
