Degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), a Master's Degree in Agricultural Meteorology from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and a PhD in Agricultural Environmental Physics from the University of São Paulo (USP / ESALQ). He was a Researcher at the Agronomic Institute of Pernambuco - IPA, where he developed research in Agrometeorology. He worked at DATAAGROS - consulting company in Informatics and Agricultural Information as Director of Research. He worked at PRORURAL on World Bank Rural Poverty Reduction projects as Technical Coordinator and Planning Director. He is currently a Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa, with the National Center for Soil Research - Embrapa Solos - UEP Recife Has experience in the area of Agronomy, with emphasis in Agrometeorology, acting in the following subjects: Agricultural Zoning of Climatic Risk, Climatic Aptitude (Climate Changes in Agriculture); Environmental Modeling and Training and diffusion on soil and water management and conservation. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Agrometeorology (SBA). Published several Works in the Area. In his professional activities He interacted with over 40 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works.
