PhD in Development and Environment from the Postgraduate Program in Development and Environment (PRODEMA), at the Federal University of Paraíba (2017), Master in Phytotechnics (Plant Production) from the Federal University of Viçosa (1999) and Graduate in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (1996). Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) since 2002 working on research projects in the area of Agronomy, with an emphasis on Agroecology and the Environment, Alternative production systems, utilization and use of Organic Waste, Ecological Soil Management and Cultural Tracts, Family farming, Coexistence with semi-aridity, Phytotechnics and Mandioculture. She is a teacher and advisor for the Professional Master's Program in the National Environmental Sciences Teaching Network (PROFCIAMB) at UFPE, the Postgraduate Program in Rural Extension (PPGExR) at UNIVASF and the PPGADT (Postgraduate Program in Agroecology and Territorial Development UNIVASF /UNEB/UFRPE). Since 2024 has been president of the Portfolio Management Committee (CGPort) Bioefficiency in Agriculture and member of the Permanent Strategic Advisory Committee of the Executive Board on the theme of One Health at Embrapa. He is also a member of the Working Group for the PGRS Solid Waste Management Plan at Embrapa Semiárido and the Local Sustainability Committee (Embrapa Semiárido). He is also a full member of the Strategic Council of the National Bioinputs Program.
