Researcher at Embrapa Digital Agriculture, he has a degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003), a master's degree in Meteorology from the University of São Paulo (2005) and a doctorate from the Federal University of Viçosa (2010). He worked as a professor at CEFET-RJ between 2010 and 2012. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Geosciences, with an emphasis on Climatology and Climate Change in South America, Regional Climate Modeling, Modeling the Biosphere-Atmosphere-Hydrosphere interaction and Biophysical models of agricultural productivity. He is currently working on the development of biophysical models to evaluate the impacts of climate on the development and yield of agricultural crops, measures to mitigate Greenhouse Gas emissions, and the impacts of climate change on Brazilian agriculture.
