Climate Adaptation and Resilience
Agriculture has been dealing with increasingly more frequent climate extremes. To cope with droughts, irregular rainfall and intense climate events, Embrapa develops technologies that strengthen production systems' ability to respond — such as adapted cultivars, soil and water conservation management practices, climate risk zoning, warning systems, and digital tools. Brazilian science has been working to have production go on even in adverse scenarios.
